Jon Magnuson has served as Beacon’s lead pastor since June of 2014. He’s earned a Bachelors in Preaching from Saint Louis Christian College and a Masters of Divinity from Lincoln Christian University. Jon is passionate about community development and reaching people right where they are with the love of Christ. In his off time, he enjoys spending time with his wife Caitlin and their children Cabot and Foster. He enjoys cooking and a good cup of coffee . . . even though it's decaff.

Caitlin is the Discipleship Pastor here at Beacon Church. She is passionate about sharing the gospel through words. Her favorite way to serve in the church is through teaching, preaching, and writing. When you meet her you’ll understand. She has lots of words to use! She also is also an avid runner (long distance is her favorite), a mom and a pastors wife.

Shane Cress has been involved in worship teams in some capacity for the last 19 years. He teaches English at LHS and has been married to our children's minister, Karen, for almost 15 years, and they have four kids together. Shane enjoys running, biking, reading, and playing and listening to music. His favorite band is Rush (which sadly, you won't hear on Sunday mornings, unless some "subconsciously" sneaks into communion music).
